Saying I do in Old Marylebone Town Hall

London Wedding Photography at Westminster Register Office

I photographed my first-ever wedding at Marylebone Town Hall in 2006. Shortly thereafter, I got to photograph for one of the early civil partnerships held in London, so Marylebone Town Hall holds a special place in my heart.

Here’s a list of my top five things to love and plan for with your wedding or gay wedding photography at Old Marylebone Town Hall.

  1. It’s a decadent Deco building in central London. There’s a reason why loads of celebrities pick Marylebone Town Hall.

  2. The interiors are recently and stylishly revamped. Gone are the days of fluorescent lighting and plastic signage. Now the backdrop for your wedding photographs is wood panelling, marble stairs and mixed with modern simplicity. Whether you opt for the Soho, Knightsbridge, Westminster, Paddington, Pimlico or Mayfair Room (yep, there are a lot of choices), your wedding will be in a stylish room.

  3. There are great stairs and columns outside Marylebone Town Hall. It’s a stunning and easy location for couple photographs as well as a big group photograph of everyone at your wedding. They even allow wedding confetti!

  4. You’re right by Regents Park. Just a short stroll with your wedding photographer and you’re in what I think is London’s best and most beautiful park.

  5. The registrars at Marylebone are incredibly friendly and inclusive, and they work hard to ensure your wedding feels unique and special.
